Hmmm… I have to say that I’m slightly miffed that us bassists didn’t have any representation. I mean, we’ve got guys, girls, acoustic, electric, Guitar Hero, even super-hot pics of what naughty things guitars get up to in the shower when they’re all alone… but no bass?
Actually, the absolute best would be to see someone try to cram their drum kit in the shower. Certainly doesn’t have the same feel and definitely isn’t sexualized to the same degree that guitars are, but it’d be all sorts of fun to see.
Finally, to follow this up having scantily-clad women oversexualize something isn’t exclusive to guitars. I think we need to see some power tools in the shower.

Writing “Rule 34″ was clever enough, but actually doing it is such a good hack that it qualifies as successful conceptual art. wetriffs all by itself would be just another boring Internet site, but its relationship to the “Rule 34″ strip makes it brilliant. Congratulations.
Although it really would be cool to have one in which twanging the E string caused drops to be shaken off in all directions. That’s non-trivial to execute, but that’s what would make it such a good hack.

Todays comic reminds me of that Val Kilmer movie Real Genius. YOu know, where they build the laser and the governmnet takes it. Anyway, there is a scene near the beginning of the movie where Val’s character is remotely controlling a flying gyroscope, and ever since then, I have wondered if it was possible to make a gyroscope that flies. o they normally, or is t a product of various fictions?

Since it’s still a topic, I just have to say that the Cuddle Mattress wouldn’t work. Your shoulder is at the top of your side; if your arm’s hanging free, then you’re supporting your body with your neck. Think about it: stick your arm and and imagine you’re laying down; which two areas are going to have the weight?
What we need is a mattress with a trench cut out of it that one can lay over with their arm in, but that lets their arm still support their weight.
